Dinner
Went to Lieve on Herengracht for dinner last night. Food was amazing and each of the (4) courses was accompanied by a specially selected beer(e47pp inc drinks). After that we did some more drinking, my head hates me.

We had the "Gastronomique" "experience", which was the sit down meal option, they sit you in sections of the restaurant with others sharing the same "experience".

For food, iirc i had:
Tomato and onion soup taster, Trout mouse croque monsieur, Pea soup, Steak + frites with garlic mash, Tuna fillet with endive gratin and a sort of chocolate brownie thing made of almonds. The beers (along with the latter part of the evening) I forget but they were all proper strong. My new favourite belgian beer is le chouffe.

All sounds very nice although not very Hellie friendly, neither are the wiggling feet for that matter *cringes*.

The vege with us was very impressed. I think they had between two and four Veg options for each course. They even managed to cater very well for our other colleagues coelliac/ tomato allergy.

That is pretty impressive, a lot of places still think one veggie option is enough (and that all veggies love nuts). Bear is much nicer than wiggly feet :-)
